Ukraine Donation Proposal

After watching the devastating events unfold in Ukraine, we felt that we should use the Hearts of our community to try to take positive action in light of the current climate. One of the most special things a community can do is band together to reduce suffering in the world. Even if our contributions seem minor, they may mean the world to someone else.

We are proposing to donate 5 ETH from our community wallet. Here are some different charity options we have compiled after some research:

1. Charity option 1 — https://www.peopleinneed.net — direct humanitarian support to civilians on the ground in Ukraine and refugees fleeing to neighboring countries, particularly Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Moldova including — if necessary — the Czech Republic.
2. Charity option 2 — https://redcross.org.ua/en/donate/ — ALL FUNDS WILL BE USED TO HELP THOSE IN NEED, AFFECTED BY ARMED CONFLICT, BLOOD COLLECTION, MOBILIZATION OF VOLUNTEERS AND RESOURCES, AND EMERGENCY ACTIVITIES.
3. Charity option 3: https://4agc.com/fundraiser_pages/e9aca7e4-13d5-4e67-b6bd-548f94822793#.YhiBBi1h127 — Getting medical supplies to Ukrainian hospitals in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv and other areas in need. We continue fundraising towards next humanitarian cargo and ask for your support! $1 of donations we are able to ship to Ukraine $25–30 of medical equipment and supplies. All the work on the project is done on a strictly volunteer basis, the project has 0% overhead, and does not handle donation money.
